At least 105 Palestinians were killed on Tuesday as Israel’s attacks on Gaza continued. Many of those killed were in Gaza City, especially in the al-Sabra neighborhood. At least 32 people died while waiting for aid, and others were killed in their homes or while trying to get water.
One Israeli drone strike in al-Mawasi – an area Israel had called a “safe zone” – killed 21 people, including 7 children, who were lining up to collect water. Pictures from the scene showed children’s bodies and water containers covered in blood.
Another strike hit the al-Af family home in Gaza City, killing 10 people, mostly women and children. Gaza officials called these attacks “war crimes” and urged the UN to act.
Among the dead were two journalists, raising the number of journalists killed since October 2023 to more than 270. Many Palestinians are also dying of hunger because of Israel’s aid blockade. Thirteen people starved to death in the last day, bringing the total hunger deaths to 361 since the war began.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel is in a “decisive stage” of the war as it moves to take control of Gaza City. Ground operations have expanded, and thousands of reservists were called for duty. However, reports say 365 Israeli soldiers have refused to serve.
Peace talks remain stalled. Qatar said Hamas accepted a ceasefire proposal, but Israel has not responded. Meanwhile, Yemen’s Houthi movement launched drone and missile attacks on Israel and a cargo ship in the Red Sea.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry welcomed Belgium’s recognition of Palestine and urged other countries to do the same, saying the world must act against genocide, displacement, and starvation.
