Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika, gave an emotional speech after her husband was killed during a campus event in Utah. Speaking from Turning Point USA’s headquarters in Arizona, she sat beside her husband’s empty chair, where he used to record his podcast. She began with a silent prayer, then thanked first responders, her husband’s staff, and the White House.
Erika said Charlie deeply loved President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, his staff, the United States, and most of all, his family. Tearfully, she said: “Charlie loved me and our children with all his heart.” She also warned those who caused his death that his mission would grow stronger than before.
Charlie Kirk, 31, was a conservative activist and the founder of Turning Point USA. He became famous for energizing young conservatives and supporting Trump’s political movement.

While many admired him, his speeches often drew protests because of his strong views against abortion, transgender rights, and Covid-19 policies.
Erika, 36, is a businesswoman, former Miss Arizona USA, and currently a Bible studies student. She and Charlie married in 2020 and have two young children, a son and a daughter. She said she struggles to explain to them why their father is gone, telling her daughter: “Daddy’s on a work trip with Jesus.”
The suspect, Tyler Robinson, was arrested after surrendering to police. President Trump announced he will award Charlie a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom, calling him a “giant of his generation.”
Erika promised that Charlie’s podcast and his campus tours will continue. She said her husband’s voice will never be silenced and that his legacy will live on.
