Advocate Md. Arifur Rahman Arif, a distinguished native of Betagi in Barguna, is representing the state at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh as an Assistant Attorney General. Armed with nearly a decade of legal practice, he has built a strong reputation in complex Writ, Civil, Criminal, and Admiralty matters.
Born into a respected Muslim family in Betagi, Adv Arif pursued his education at top-tier institutions. He completed his Dakhil from Jhalakathi N.S. Kamil Madrasah and HSC from Notre Dame College, Dhaka, before earning his LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. degrees from the Department of Law, University of Dhaka.
Enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council in 2016, he honed his skills alongside renowned lawyers and later became a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association. Following a successful 6-year tenure as an Associate Lawyer at Zainul Abedin & Associates, he now serves as an Assistant Attorney General while heading his own firm, ‘Arifur Rahman & Associates’.
