Qatar’s foreign ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari has told Al Jazeera his country is determined to make diplomacy work to end the US-Iran conflict. On Tuesday Qatar oversaw the first meeting between the US and Iran in months, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
