Ministers of energy and water management from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan held a working meeting to strengthen cooperation in the water and energy sector.
During the talks, the three countries discussed how to keep the regional water and energy system working smoothly during the autumn and winter seasons. They focused on making the best use of available resources and solving current challenges together.
The ministers underlined that close cooperation is very important for managing water resources and ensuring a steady energy supply. They agreed that joint efforts will not only help maintain stability but also support sustainable development and improve the well-being of people in the region.
As a result of the meeting, the sides decided to hold regular meetings of a permanent working group to continue dialogue and coordination. The countries also signed the necessary protocols to formalize their agreements.
